Facebook automatically includes a list of your friends in the left column of your Facebook profile. The friends shown are ones you publicly interact with the most through wall posts, comments and events you attend. Family members or a person you are in a relationship with also are featured in the left column. In addition to these featured friends, you can customize a friend list to display your top friends.
Sign into Facebook and click "Profile" in the top, right of your window.
Click "Edit Profile" in the top, right-hand corner of your profile page.
Choose "Featured People" from the menu on the left side of your screen.
Select "Create a new list" or "Add an existing list or group" from "Featured Friends" at the bottom on the page.
Click "Save Changes" when you are finished.
Select "Add an existing list or group" from the bottom of the page under "Featured Friends."
Click the box next to the friend list you want to feature as your top friends and click "Add."
Click "Save Changes" again and the list will display on the left-side of your profile page.
