Flirt With Boy in Class

The classroom is a public place, but that doesn't have to keep you from flirting with the object of your affection. It takes a bit of creativity to be successful, but flirting in class can be done. As long as you are subtle and avoid disturbing your classmates, feel free to flirt with any boy in your class.

Setting the Stage
Make a special but subtle effort to look your very best in every class you have with him. Don't wear too much makeup; many guys prefer natural-looking girls, so let your innate beauty show. If you have several classes together, pick a seat next to him in one or two. Don't smother him with your presence and he'll learn to miss you when you're far away. Come to class armed with one or two legitimate conversation openers, such as "How did you do on that history quiz?" Inane small talk might get him talking to you, but it may not make you seem very interesting.

Touching Him
Physical contact is very telling, since people generally avoid it with those they don't care about. However, keep it subtle. For example, touch his arm lightly for emphasis when you're talking about something important; it will get his attention but seem as if you hardly noticed you did it. Pick lint or strings off his clothing or fix his collar. If you're really brave -- and confident he likes you -- you can say "You've got an eyelash" and pretend to brush one off his cheek with your finger.

Talking to Him
Ask questions and get to know him. Find out if he's on a team or in a club, then talk to him about his teammates or meetings. Don't use silly pick-up lines or words you don't normally use to try to impress him. Give him a compliment; tell him he smells nice or that he played well at the match yesterday. Listen to him and remember details that you can bring up later. Say his name often. Ask for help occasionally on something class-related; it will trigger his caretaking instinct and you may seem more attractive for having solicited his help.

Other Ways
Pass him a note during class. If you notice he's having a bad day, draw a smiley face and write a "Feel better!" message on it. It may not fix things but it will let him know you care. Laugh when he makes a joke to boost his confidence and let him see you at your best -- smiling. If you're set on one boy, let him see that your interactions with other boys are markedly different: be polite and kind, but never flirt. If you're the bold sort, you can wink at your crush or tease him a little. Try to be in his group during group work and pull your chair a little closer than usual to him.
