Prince Edward Island has a number of beaches--both with and without lifeguards. Among them is Blooming Point Beach, which is used by nude sunbathers and swimmers. Here is how you can find it.
Begin at Charlottetown, the easiest starting point for these directions. The beach at Blooming Point is to the east of the National Park.
Start out on Route 2 and follow it towards St. Peter's until you come to Route 218.
Take a left hand turn onto 218.
Follow Route 218 until it becomes a dirt road. At the dirt, take a left and it will take you to the beach at Blooming Point.
Keep going on Route 2 until you reach Mill Cove and then follow signs to the beach, if you miss the turn for Route 218.
Tips & Warnings
Be sure to stay in the clothing optional section of the beach if you will be using Blooming Point as a nude beach.
There are no lifeguards on duty.
There are neither restrooms nor food services available at the beach at Blooming Point.
