Make All Facebook Notes Private

Facebook's note feature lets you publish notes similar to journal entries. Unlike wall posts, notes are not character limited. Additionally, composing a note gives you extra options, such as the ability to tag friends in the post. If you are concerned about the privacy of your notes, consider making all your notes private. There is not a global setting to make all your notes private, unless you also want to make all your posts, including wall posts, private, so you'll need to set the notes as private one by one.

Sign into Facebook and click on "Profile" in the upper-right corner to access your profile page.

Click "Notes" on the left sidebar. This brings up a list of your published notes.

Click on "Edit" next to the first note. Scroll down beneath the text box and click on "Privacy."

Select the desired privacy option. If you want to make the note private to everyone but your friends, select "Friends Only." If you want to make the note private to everyone but yourself, click on "Customize" and type your name into the box.

Click on "Save Settings" to make the note private. Repeat the process with each Facebook note to make all of them private.
