Make Facebook Fan Page Private

Facebook fan pages are created for celebrities, bands, organizations, brands and businesses and are similar to user pages. Members of Facebook can become fans of their favorite organizations and receive up-to-date news and promotions through the fan page. By default, these pages are made public to all members of the Facebook community. Owners of fan pages may wish to restrict access to particular individuals or make the page entirely private to administrators only.

Log in to your Facebook account using your username and password. Click the "Pages" link from the left side of your home page. If you don't see the "Pages" link, click the "More" link to display the additional sections of Facebook including Pages. Click the Facebook Fan Page of your choice from the list of available pages that you administer. Your Facebook Fan Page launches.

Click the "Edit Page" button in the upper-right corner of the page.

Click the "Manage Permissions" link in the left navigation panel of the page.

Click the check box next to "Only admins can see this page." Fan page administrators can also change privacy permissions restricting certain countries and ages from accessing the page and disabling fans from posting content, photos and videos on the wall.

Click the "Save Changes" button.
