Sharing education information with friends on Facebook is useful for high school and college students who are seeking to connect with other students. Graduates from high school and college interested in finding previous classmates will also find this feature helpful. When you customize the education section of your profile, you can provide details about your school's name, class year and field of study. You can also tag other Facebook friends who were your classmates. Once you provide your education information, it will appear with your profile picture on Facebook.
Open your Web browser and go to Facebook. Enter your email address and password, and click the "Login" button.
Click the "Profile" link located in the top-right corner menu.
Click the "Add Your Education Information" link located under your profile name.
Enter your school name in the "College/University" or "High School" field.
Click the drop-down menu for "Class Year" and select the year.
Enter the names of your friends you attended the school with in the "With" field.
Enter your field(s) of study in the "Concentrations" fields if you are entering information for a college. Choose either "College" or "Graduate School" under the "Attended for" section.
Click the "Add School" button.
