You may have been added to a Facebook group by a friend, or perhaps you are simply no longer interested in a group's members. While Facebook groups are intended for users with similar interests to interact, joining and keeping up with too many groups can become overwhelming. By removing excess groups from your profile, you decrease clutter on your Facebook page and reduce the number of unwanted group activity notifications you receive.
