Tips to Add Fonts to Gmail

Gmail is a widely-used, free Web-based email platform offered by Google. You can easily change fonts when you compose a message in Gmail by clicking the "Formatting Options" button at the bottom the message. This opens the Format toolbar, where you can select from several font styles, including Sans Serif, Courier, Georgia and Verdana. Clicking on other options will easily change your font to bold, italic or underlined -- or change it to a different color. If you want to add a font not offered by Gmail, you'll need to borrow a font from another program.

Open a program that includes the font you want to add to your Gmail message. You can use a word processing program like Microsoft Word, a spreadsheet or any other program that offers font selections.

Select the font style and size that you want for your Gmail message, and begin typing your message. You do not need to type more than a single character, but you can type the entire message if you choose.

Copy the text from the program and paste it into your Gmail message. The text will appear in the same font you selected.

Continue composing your Gmail message. The new text will retain the same font that you pasted into the message.
