Portable Basketball Goal Assembly

With a portable basketball hoop you get all the advantages of a permanently installed cemented basketball hoop without any of the disadvantages. A portable basketball hoop is a hoop you can play basketball with at home and it can also be moved around as needed to suit your changing needs. You have to leave a permanent basketball hoop behind when moving, but a portable basketball hoop can be taken with you to your new house.

Position the holes of the mounting brackets so that they line up with the holes of the backboard. Insert a screw into the holes, then secure with a nut and tighten with a wrench.

Place the adjuster hardware between the mounting brackets. Align the side holes of the adjuster hardware with the holes of the mounting brackets. Slip the long bolt through the left hole of the mounting bracket and into the adjuster hardware through the left mounting bracket, add a nut and tighten with a wrench. The adjuster hardware allows you to adjust the height of the rim.

Thread the nets through the wire holders on the rim. Squeeze the top of the net's loops together, then push them through the wire holder and pull down. Align the screw holes in the rim with the holes in the backboard. Slide the rim bolts through the rim holes into the backboard, add a nut and tighten with a wrench.

Align the holes of the mounting arms to the holes in the mounting bracket, slide the bolts in, add a nut and tighten with a wrench. Align the holes of the other end of the mounting arms with the hole on the top portion of the pole, slide the bolts through, add a nut and tighten with a wrench.

Set the pole into the base of the portable basketball hoop, insert the holding bolts, add a nut for each bolt and tighten with a wrench.

Wheel the base out where you want to use it. Fill the base with water and play ball.
