Tips for Senior Basketball Gifts

Each year all basketball programs have an end of season banquet or a get together to acknowledge the members of the team as well as that year's accomplishments. At the banquet the members of the team who are seniors will receive special recognition from the coaching staff regarding their contributions to the program. The coaching staff and team will usually present the seniors with a gift or gifts to show their gratitude.

Poster
A poster with pictures of the player on it from all his seasons of participation makes a nice senior basketball gift. For players who participated for four years you can include all the team pictures that the player was in as well as action shots from all four years. There should be a bigger picture in the middle of the poster, an action shot, with several smaller pictures surrounding it. A good size for the poster is 16-inches by 20-inches.

Signed Ball
Presenting all senior basketball players with a signed basketball is a special gift. Each member of the team during the senior year can sign the ball with an inspirational message or a message of thanks. Coaches can ensure that after the ball is signed it is placed into a ball cube so that it looks more presentable and to ensure that it will be preserved for many years.

Highlight Film
Putting together a highlight film of all the best personal and team basketball moments is a great gift that can remind the player of his time on the team for many years to come. Highlight tapes can include individual clips of good plays that the player made on offense or defense and include any buzzer beater wins that the team had while the player was part of the team.
