Although many people enjoy posting messages on the walls of their Facebook profiles or having friends post messages, not everyone likes the feature. Privacy concerns and wanting to keep their accounts family friendly are two major reasons why some Facebook users completely "hide" the wall on their profile and prevent anyone from posting on it.
Instructions
Step 1
Sign in to your Facebook account.
Step 2
Click the "Account Link" in the upper right corner. Then click the "Privacy Settings' link in the pull-down menu.
Step 3
Click the "Edit Settings" link located to the right of the "How You Connect" subhead.
Step 4
Click the "Friends" pull-down menu located to the right of the question "Who can post on your wall?" Select the words "Only Me."
Step 5
Click the blue "Done" button that appears in the lower right corner of the menu.
