If possible, go on a shopping trip with the mother of the bride to find outfits that will complement each other. Try to avoid the exact color of the bridesmaids' dresses and dresses of black or white.

Put together the groom's side of the guest list as soon as you can.List everyone you wish could attend the wedding, but you might have to trim that list once the bride knows the limit on guests. Also keep track of your RSVPs and offer to call the guests from your list that do not send a reply.
