Comb hair to make it as straight and smooth as possible.

Using the comb, create a slightly off-center part on the left side of your head.

On each side of your part, separate hair into two horizontal sections, leaving out a few 1/2-inch strands of hair around the front of your face and ears.

Pin each section with a clip to keep the sections separated.
Prep and Part Hair

Divide the top right horizontal section into three small subsections.

Begin French braiding the three subsections, stopping after the third round of picking up additional strands of hair.

Finish the braid as a simple three-strand braid until you reach the middle of the back of your head. Secure with a clear ponytail holder.

Repeat on the opposite side.
Braid the Top Section

Divide the bottom right horizontal section into three small subsections. French braid hair until it's in line with your ear.

Using the same braid, transition into a waterfall braid until you reach the middle of the back of your head. Secure with a clear ponytail holder

Repeat on the opposite side.
Braid the Bottom Section

Spray hair with a light layer of hair spray.

Using the curling iron, curl hair around the face and ears in loose, vertical spirals.

Continue curling the remainder of your hair, starting with the ends and curling until about 1 inch from the scalp.

Set hair with another layer of hair spray.
