Matt Kenseth had a score to settle and was more than willing to do so Sunday. The veteran NASCAR driver was at the center of controversy when he appeared to intentionally wreck race leader Joey Logano on Lap 455 at Martinsville. Logano was running out front and was poised to advance in the Chase for the Sprint Cup when Kenseth — who wasn’t even on the lead lap — got into Logano’s car. Kenseth’s right front got into the left rear of Logano’s car and spun the polarizing driver into the wall. There’s certainly plenty of history between the two drivers, which is why no one’s buying Kenseth’s excuse that his right front went down, causing him to get into Logano. On Oct. 23, Logano spun out Kenseth — who was leading the race — with five laps to go at Kansas. The spin-out ultimately cost Kenseth, who didn’t advance in the Chase because of the incident.
