Close Down Page on Facebook

With Facebook, you can do more than just make a personal profile for yourself. You also have the option of making a fan page. Your page can be devoted to your business, a celebrity, a fictional character, a cause or nearly anything else you can think of. When this page is no longer useful -- or when you simply lose interest in maintaining it -- you have two basic choices. You can appoint another administrator and allow him to manage the page. Alternatively, you can close down the page.

Sign in to your Facebook account. This account must be an admin account on the page you wish to close.

Navigate to the page in question, and then click the "Edit Page" button.

Click "Manage Permissions" in the page's left panel if you don't go there automatically.

Click the blue "Permanently delete (page name)" link in the "Delete Page" section.

Click the blue "Delete" button in the small window that opens, asking if you are sure you wish to delete the page.
