Disable wall posts on Facebook events to prevent people who aren't invited to the event from posting or even viewing the event's wall. Although it isn't possible to disable an event's wall altogether, setting an event's wall to private ensures that only people who may attend the event are able to see or post on its wall, eliminating superfluous commentary or even spam from others.
Log in to Facebook. Select "Events" from the left side of the Home page and click "Create Event" to create a new event if you haven't already done so. Alternatively, click the name of an existing event.
Input an event name, description and its date and time if you're creating a new event. In either case, uncheck the box next to "Anyone Can View and RSVP (Public Event)."
Click "Select Guests" to choose guests who are able to see the event -- or to add new ones if you're modifying an existing event. Select "Save Event" to post or repost your now-private event to Facebook.
