Edit Facebook Album Cover

Your Facebook albums provide a way to organize your photos, and the album cover is the first image your friends see when perusing your albums. Choose a photo for your album cover that represents its contents and will entice viewers to click it and view the rest of the album. You must use one of the photos uploaded to the album as the cover image, but you're allowed to trade out the current cover for a new one as many times as you like.

Log in to your Facebook account and click the "Photos" link in the sidebar of your home or profile page, located along the left side of the screen. If you don't see the link, click "See All," then "Photos."

Click "My Uploads" in the "Photos" group.

Click the blue "Edit Album" link beneath the photo album for which you want to change the cover. Facebook displays all the photos in your album.

Click inside the circle next to "This is the album cover" under the photo you want to become the new cover.

Scroll down and click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the screen.
