Facebook Music Symbols Mac

You can use your Facebook status to express or share just about anything with your friends. If you have something different or creative to say, standard keyboard characters might not be enough. For example if you’re posting about music, including musical symbols in your status adds that extra little touch. If you’re on a Mac, use the Character Viewer to insert special characters like musical symbols into your text on facebook.

Open your preferred Web browser on your Mac. Navigate to Facebook and log in to your account.

Click “Update Status” and then type any text you want to appear before the music symbols into the status field.

Click “Edit” in the top menu bar of your Mac and then click “Special Characters.”

Click “Symbols” to expand the character symbols menu.

Click “Miscellaneous Characters” to find common musical symbols, including single musical notes, double musical notes, the flat symbol and the sharp symbol.

Click “Musical Symbols” to find more musical symbols, such as the treble clef, repeat signs, C clef and F clef.

Click the symbol you want to use and then click the “Insert” button at the bottom of the Character Viewer window to insert the symbol into your text.
