How to Add Links to Image

You can add a link over any picture on Facebook, whether its on your personal profile or your fan page, via photo tagging. However, the link itself won't be clickable to users. When the user tries to click the link tagged on your photo, it automatically jumps to the next photo in the album. A way to get around this problem is to include a clickable link in the description or caption below the photo. The tag and clickable link below should draw the viewers attention to the link address, which is an effective way to increase website traffic.

Go to facebook.com, sign into your account and click the "Account" menu at the upper right side of the homepage. Select the "Use Facebook as Page" option.

Click the "Photos" tab on your page to view your photos. Click a photo from one of your albums to view it.

Click the "Tag Photo" to the bottom left-hand side of the photo. Move the cursor over the picture and click a spot to start tagging. Type the website address in the popup box and hit the "Enter" key. When finished tagging, click the "Done Tagging" link.

Click the "Add Description" or "Edit" link. Type the full website address, including the "http://" prefix, in the description area. When done, click the "Save" button. Your photo is now tagged with the website address as an over-the-image tag and also below with a clickable link that takes the person to your site.
