Facebook offers users the ability to block other users, which makes all their posts invisible to you if you are the one a user blocks. The Facebook error message you see when you attempt to access a deleted Facebook profile page is the same as the message you see if the user blocks you on the social network. To figure out if you are blocked, log out of your Facebook account and attempt to access the user's main page on the Internet.
Open a Web browser and navigate to the Facebook home page. If you are logged in to the network, log out.
Open a second tab and navigate to Google's home search page. Type your friend's name into the search text box and append "facebook" to the search.
Click the Google link to the Facebook profile in the search results. If the page shows an error, the user deleted his Facebook profile. If you see your friend's profile picture with the option to add as a friend, then the friend has you blocked.
