Posting links to your Facebook profile is an easy way to share your favorite Internet content with friends on the social networking site. Encourage your friend list to pick up a copy of a particular book by providing a link to its Amazon profile. Once clicked on, a link to Amazon opens in a new browser window and takes your friend right to the page where the book can be purchased.
Point your Internet browser to Amazon's website and enter the name of a book in the search engine at the top of the screen. Click on the title of the book in your search results to be directed to its page on Amazon.
Click inside the URL field at the top of your browser to highlight the Web link leading to the book. Right-click and choose "Copy" from the menu.
Go to the Facebook home page and log in, if you have not already. Click the "Link" icon in the "Share" toolbar above your news feed.
Right-click inside the "http://" field and select "Paste" to drop the link into the field. Click the gray "Attach" button.
Enter comments about the book in the "Say something about this link" field. Click "Share" to post the link to Facebook--it will appear on your profile and in the news feed of your friends.
