Facebook is a popular website that allows users to provide updates about their lives to their circles of friends and family. At times, users may want to use symbols to make a point on Facebook. One of the symbols they can use is a crown, which can be easily incorporated in an update or chat by cutting and pasting.
Open a browser and go to the Alanwood.net site (see Resources). Scroll a bit less than halfway down the page to the chess pieces, where you'll find crown symbols for a "White Chess King," a "White Chess Queen," a "Black Chess King" and a "Black Chess Queen."
Copy the crown symbol you'd like to use by highlighting it; then press your "Ctrl" key and your "C" key together.
Surf to Facebook and log in to your account. Put your cursor in a chat box or a status update and press your "Ctrl" key and your "P" key together. The crown will appear.
