As a Facebook user, you control the amount of personal information friends and other users can see about you. You can choose to reveal your facebook relationship status or leave it blank. If you want to make your single status public, you can change the information easily within your Facebook profile, and it will be visible to anyone who can see your profile.
Log in to Facebook and click "Profile" in the upper right corner.
Click "Edit Profile."
Click "Friends and Family" on the left side of the page.
Click the bar next to "Relationship Status" and select "Single" from the drop-down menu.
Click "Save Changes."
Click "Account" in the upper right corner on the page and then select "Privacy Settings."
Click "Customize Settings" under "Sharing on Facebook."
Click the drop-down menu next to "Relationships" and select select "Everyone." This makes your single status visible to everyone on Facebook, not just friends.
