Posts Disappeared From Facebook Wall

The Facebook Wall is home to the majority of activity on a user's profile. You are able to post status updates, photos and videos to your own Wall, and friends may do the same, unless you disallow friends' posts in your privacy settings. Several possible scenarios can cause posts to go missing from your Profile wall.

Manual Post Removal
When your friend posts content to your Facebook Wall, she has the option to remove it at any time. Even though the post is on your Wall, because she is the creator, Facebook allows your friend to maintain control over its presence on the site. If some of the posts from a particular friend have gone missing, it is possible that she clicked the "X" in the top right corner of the posts and then "Remove" to delete them.

Deactivated Friends
When a friend deactivates her Facebook account, all of her content disappears. This includes her entire profile, as well as the posts she has created on other users' Walls. If posts are missing from your Wall, it may be that one or more of your friends has a deactivated account. The posts will return if the friend reactivates her Facebook Profile.

Blocked Users
When you block a user on Facebook, or she blocks you, you both become invisible to each other on the site. While your accounts may be active, if that person previously left comments on your Wall, you are no longer able to see them. If you are the one who blocked the user, visit your "Privacy Settings" menu and unblock her to restore the posts. Your friendship is not be automatically restored by unblocking, however, so send another friend request if you want to be friends again.

Inappropriate Content
All users who post to Facebook are required to abide by the site's terms of use. If you or another user posts something to your Wall that violates Facebook terms, the site reserves the right to remove it without your permission. Content including pornography, threats or graphic violence is likely to be removed, especially if another user reports it as abusive.
