Set up group profile photos in facebook for a group you administer to give the group's profile page personality and flair. Choose a picture that represents the aim or scope of the group and is visually interesting not only in the full-sized version that displays on the group's home page but also in the thumbnail version used elsewhere on Facebook. When you modify the group's profile picture, the new image is posted on the group's wall and everyone subscribed to the group's feed is notified.
Browse to Facebook.com and log in to your account. Type the name of your group into the search bar at the top of the page.
Hover your mouse over the existing profile picture when your group page loads. Click "Change Profile Picture," which will appear after you've hovered for several seconds.
Click "Choose File" and browse your computer's hard drive for a new image that represents the group. Click "Open" and wait for the file to upload. Once the upload is complete, the new image becomes the group's profile picture.
