What is Facebook Stealth Mode

Facebook's "Stealth mode" means you set your privacy settings to allow only friends to see your wall posts, photos and personal information. By default, your information is visible to friends and friends of friends. Some information is visible for anyone to see. To change into stealth mode, you change these settings to allow only friends to see your information -- and block all other users from viewing it.

Log into your Facebook account.

Click your name in the upper-right corner of the Facebook screen. Click "Privacy Settings" in the left panel.

Click "Edit Settings" in the "How You Connect" section. Select "Friends" from the drop-down box next to each privacy setting. Click "Done" to save the settings.

Click "Manage Post Visibility" in the "Limit the Audience for Past Posts." Click "Limit Visibility" and choose "Friends" from the drop-down box. Click "Done" to save the settings.
