Posting things on other Facebook users' walls or as status updates is an integral part of communication on Facebook. Not only can you use these posting platforms to post text, but you can also use them to post photos and videos. If you want to link to a photo on either a Facebook wall or a Facebook status update, you can do so with the URL of the photo.
Open the computer's Web browser and locate the photo to which you want to link on Facebook. Highlight the photo's URL, right-click the highlighted URL and select the "Copy" option from the context menu that appears.
Log into your Facebook account.
Place your mouse cursor in the text entry field either in the "Status Update" section of your Facebook home page or in the "Wall" section of another Facebook user's profile.
Right-click the text entry field and select the "Paste" option from the context menu that appears. The URL of the photo you want to share will be pasted into the text entry field, and Facebook will automatically retrieve the image from the URL.
Click the "Share" button to post the status update if you're linking to a photo there. Press the "Enter" key if linking to a photo on another Facebook user's wall to post the link. In either case, the link to the photo will be posted to Facebook.
