A "kiss face" is a type of emoticon often used by Facebook users to emulate the facial expression of someone giving a kiss. Made by using an assortment of keyboard letters and symbols, the emoticon is typically added to a comment, to give an emotional emphasis to what the writer wishes to express. The kiss face is generally used to represent affection or thanks; however, when used sarcastically it can also imply another person is a "butt kisser."
