Reporting abusive pictures helps to keep Facebook clean and safe. If you find an inappropriate photo on Facebook, you can easily report it by clicking a link on the photo's page. Don't report pictures you simply don't like, such as photos you find unpleasant or unflattering photos of yourself: only report photos that violate Facebook's Statement of Rights and Responsibilities or the Facebook Community Standards. You should report any photo that harasses or bullies you or a friend, that constitutes spam, a scam or a threat, that contains nudity, pornography, graphic violence, hate speech or a hate symbol, or that displays self-harming behaviors or illegal drug use.
Click on the photo to open it on its own page, rather than in a Facebook album, news feed or wall.
Click the "Report This Photo" link, which is located underneath the photo on the left-hand side. A menu for reporting the picture launches.
Click the circle next to your reason for reporting the picture. Remember not to report a picture if you simply dislike it.
Check the box next to "Report to Facebook" on the next screen in the pop-up menu. Set the other options depending on your reason for reporting the picture. For example, if you report a picture that harasses you, you can also forward the picture to someone who can help protect you, then block the person who posted the picture on Facebook. If you report a picture for nudity, you can also message, unfriend or block the person who posted it.
Click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the pop-up menu. Click the "Okay" button on the next screen, which acknowledges your report and thanks you for it.
