Connect your webcam to your computer and turn it on. Make sure your computer detects your webcam settings by following any prompts on your screen.
Sign into your Facebook account with your username and password. Go to your profile page. Underneath your name and basic information, there is a function that allows you to share photos. Click on the photo tab and click "take a photo."
Take the picture using your webcam. Review the picture to see if you like it. Click the share button to post the picture to your Facebook profile.
Use your cell phone. Download the Facebook app and sign into your account. Click on photos and all of your photo albums will be listed. Click the plus sign at the top right of your screen. Choose the "take photo or video" option. Your phone's camera will open and allow you to take a picture. Snap the picture and preview it. You will be given the option to retake or use the picture. If you like it, click use and share it on your Facebook profile.
