Facebook is full of not only members, but also "fan pages." Fan pages are Facebook profiles that represent a public figure such as an actor, a business or a cause of some type. Although it is very easy to become a fan of a page simply by clicking the "Like" button, it is less commonly known how to dislike a page, officially known as how to "Unlike" a page. The process is actually a very easy one that takes under a minute.
Launch an Internet browser. Go to Facebook.com.
Type the email address associated with your Facebook account and your Facebook password into the email and password fields. Click "Login."
Locate the post within your news feed that states you "like" that page. Alternatively, you can locate any post from that page in your news feed.
Click the "X" to the upper right on that post. A drop-down menu will appear.
Click the second option, "Remove Post and Unlike." A pop-up window will appear saying "This will permanently delete this post and remove your connection to (name of page.)"
Click the "Remove Post and Unlike" button at the bottom of the pop-up window to confirm you are unliking the page. Following this, you have unliked the page and will not receive any further status updates from that page.
