Google Maps is a free online service that displays maps from across the globe. It's a handy way to make maps of specific locations for you to share with others. Google provides an easy method to obtain the HTML code for any map you choose, so you can embed the map for display on your website or blog.
Navigate your Web browser to Google Maps (see Linkedin).
Click and drag the map to display the location you want to show on your website, or type the location in the search bar and click "Enter" to go there automatically.
Click "Link" in the top-right corner of the map to release a drop-down menu.
Click and then right-click the code in the box labeled "Paste HTML to embed in website," then click "Copy."
Open the program you use to edit your website, and select the HTML code source or view.
Right-click wherever in the code you want to place the embedded Google map and select "Paste."
Upload your page to the Web.
