Install Auto Poke Back on Facebook

Every time you log into Facebook you may notice you were poked by a friend or family member if you look at the homepage's right sidebar. Normally, if you want to return the poke, you would have to click the "Poke" link for each person and confirm the action. By using the Firefox browser and the Facebook Auto Poke user script, you can automatically poke back your friends every time you sign into your account. This convenient tool can save you time on the social network.

Visit the Firefox Add-Ons site and type "greasemonkey" in the top search box. Press the "Enter" key to return the search results.

Go to the "Greasemonkey" listing and then click the "Add to Firefox" button.

Click the "Install Now" button and give Firefox a few moments to update the browser. Click the "Restart Now" button when prompted. The browser will restart fresh with the new extension installed.

Visit userscripts.org and type "facebook autopoke" in the top right search box. Hit the "Enter" key.

Click the listing for "Facebook Autopoke 3.5 for Greasemonkey."

Click the "Install" button near the top of the page. When prompted, click the "Install" button on the pop-up dialog. The user script will install in a few seconds, but will not give you a warning when completed.

Sign into your Facebook account with your email address and password. If you have any Facebook pokes you have not already returned, they will be automatically processed. Your friends are poked back every time you go to the Facebook homepage
