Place Spell Check on Browser Toolbar

The Google Toolbar features a spell checker, and you can easily add it to the browser toolbar. The spell check automatically underlines words in red that are not in its dictionary, which makes misspellings easier to spot. You can also set the toolbar to automatically fix misspellings with the auto fix feature, although the auto fix may not correctly predict the intended word for every misspelling it catches.

Open the web browser that has the Google Toolbar installed. Click on the Google wrench icon on the right side of the toolbar.

Click "Options," and then click the "Tools" button on the navigation tab.

Click on the box next to "Spell Check." This adds the spell check feature to the Google Toolbar.

Click on "Save." You'll now see a "Check" button on the toolbar. The spell check runs automatically in web forms. Click on the arrow next to "Check" and select "Autofix" if you want spell check to automatically fix spelling errors.
