Facebook allows friends and family to keep in touch with status updates, photos, a comment wall and chat feature. The application is available free by accessing Facebook.com on a desktop computer or by installing a Facebook application on a mobile phone. When Facebook Mobile is enabled, you are alerted of new comments, messages and events with a message sent directly to the phone. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, Facebook Mobile can be disabled.
