The SafeSearch feature on the Google search engine is an Internet filtering tool that can remove inappropriate images, websites and videos from your search results. There are three different levels -- off, moderate and strict -- which can be configured to retrieve different results when typing in specific keywords. Once the strict search is disabled, the Google search engine has a higher likelihood of pulling up adult content or content that is rated "M" for mature.
