Use Google Cache to Go Further Back

You can view snapshots of a website's past by viewing its cached results. A cache is simply a copy of a website that has been stored by Google. By viewing the cache, you can view the website even if it is down at the time you try to access it. You may find this useful when working with non-interactive websites that contain only text information. When you access the cached copy of the website, you view the website as it was at some point in the past.

Type "google.com" into the address bar of your Web browser and press "Enter."

Type "cache:" into the Google search box.

Type the URL of the website that you want to see cache results for immediately after "cache:" and press "Enter."
