Open your preferred Web browser on your computer. Enter the Google Translate website address into your address bar. Find a link to the website in References.
Select your page's default language from the drop-down menu listed as step 1 on the Google page. By default, Google assumes your website is written in English. You can change this setting by selecting from the list of language options.
Decide if you want to allow users to translate your page into specific languages or into any language that Google supports. Choose the corresponding option under the "Choose Optional Settings" subsection. If you choose to offer specific languages, place a check mark next to each language you wish to offer on your site.
Click the "Preview and Try" button underneath the HTML code to preview the Google Translator tool's appearance on a Web page. In the preview window, you may select a language from the drop-down menu and the application will translate the sample page into the target language.
Click within the HTML box marked as step 3 on the Google page. Clicking within this box will automatically highlight all of the text. Right-click on the highlighted text and select "Copy" to copy the code for the application.
Open the program you use to edit your website and paste the code into your website's HTML coding. Place the code between the <html> and </html> tags. Save your changes to embed Google Translator into your website.
