Forward Sent Email in Gmail Filters

Gmail is a Web-based email service offered by Google. Gmail provides a variety of tools to help you keep track of your many messages and manage your email traffic closely. Filters are one of these tools. Gmail filters can sort incoming mail into labels, delete or flag messages from certain senders, or forward all the mail you send to another address. Setting it up is simple and can be done in minutes.

Log into your Gmail account.

Click on "Create a filter" at the top of the page. It is in small letters just underneath "Show search options" and to the right of the search bar and the "Search the Web" button.

Type your own email address into the "From" field.

Click on "Next Step>>".

Click on the box for "Forward it." If you can't check the box, it is because you need to set up a forwarding address first. To do that, click on the "Manage your forwarding addresses" link to the right of the check box. After setting one up, the check box should work.

Click on "Create Filter." This filter will now forward all the mail you send from this email address to your forwarding address.
