Delete Filter in Google Gmail

Google Gmail allows users to create customizable filters. Filters can automatically sift through mass amounts of email and mark them as spam, move them to specific folders, and/or delete them. Configuring filters in Gmail helps keep your email in check. Once you are finished using a particular filter, deleting them in Gmail is easier than creating them.

Open your Internet browser and go to Gmail.com. Sign into Gmail with your Google account, by entering your log-in and password.

Click "Settings" in the top right-hand corner of your computer screen. Gmail displays the "Settings" page where you can make global changes to your email configuration.

Click the link "Filter."

Click the "Delete" link next to the filter you want to delete. Your filter is deleted.
