Tips to Repair Easton Stealth Bats

The repairs that can be performed on an Easton Stealth baseball bat are somewhat limited. If an aluminum bat has a crack or fissure anywhere from the handle to the barrel, it should be thrown away. Not only will the bat not be as effective when hitting, if it snaps in half, the pieces can be quite sharp and dangerous. However, you can make repairs to the grip of the Easton Stealth baseball bat, and repair the cap on the end of the barrel--if it has one.

Remove the loose cap from the end of the bat.

Apply Crazy Glue to the bat cap. Place a generous amount along the edge of the cap.

Insert the bat cap back into the end of the bat. Once inserted, lean the bat upright for about an hour so the glue dries before using to hit again.

Fixing the Grip
Remove the old grip on the baseball bat. If the grip becomes loose or worn, you can remove it by simply slicing the bat grip with a sharp knife.

Tape around the handle of the bat. Make one complete circle around the handle of the baseball bat just above the knob. Continue to tape the bat by rotating it as you tape, which will allow you to tape higher along the handle. You can use padded or flat tape; the preference is yours.

Make one final complete circle with the tape when you reached the other end of the grip in the same manner that you did at the knob of the bat.
