However, they could get different customers if their lowered their prices to be more competitive. The original suppliers shouldn't really go out of business as long as they change to fit in with the new laws.
Furthermore, some customers might stay with them and pay the original prices because they think it is a lot of trouble to change suppliers. People will probably ask them for lower prices though; if they are smart they will anyway.
