The scams are different in the aspect that they do not provide the disclaimer and instead tell you that there is no way you could fail in this opportunity. So how do you tell the real from the fake?
Do your homework first. A quick Google search will assist you in finding out what others have to say about the business. You can also check with various fraud reporting sites to see if there are complaints. You can ask for verification that people have been paid using the methods. Most will be willing to show payment verification via check or PayPal. Now that you have signed up for a website and possibly even paid upfront money, what do you do when you haven't either been paid or feel that you were intentionally misinformed about what was being offered?
- File a complaint: First file a complaint with the company website. This may actually just be a misunderstanding and you may find a suitable resolution.
