Install Goalrilla Basketball Hoop

Goalrilla basketball hoops are touted as the most "professional" basketball hoop a person can install in their backyard or driveway. The superior makeup and materials used in the production of these hoops makes them not only extremely sturdy, but also closely simulate the quality of a hoop found in a college gym or professional court. Installation of the Goalrilla is a difficult process that will take several days and involve lifting heavy parts and using concrete. It is advised that you assemble the Goalrilla with help from at least one other person, as the main pole alone weighs almost 200 pounds.

Arrange the wooden blocks in a "C" pattern to designate a foundation for the hoop. Nail them together in proper formation.

Remove the wooden blocks and dig a hole to the depth indicated in the instruction manual.

Stir together 8 to 10 bags of concrete in a wheelbarrow, which will later be poured inside the hole. Let the concrete cure for 2 to 4 days.

Pour the concrete in the hole, inserting the rebar while doing this to ensure the foundation will remain sturdy. Be sure to keep all rods level.

Put the wooden form blocks back around the hole. Press the anchoring system into the concrete while it is still wet, making sure it is completely level. Let the concrete harden for 2 to 4 days.

Take out the wooden blocks and put together the main hoop pole according to the instructions in the manual.

Lift the pole onto the anchoring bolts and secure it in place with a wrench.

Put on the backboard, rim, net, and the height adjustment handle. Measure the hoop at full extended height to make sure it is 10 feet high.
