Sometimes, you can view the public portion of someone's Facebook profile by typing her name and the word "Facebook" into an Internet search engine. Alternatively, you can click on the "Find Friends" link at the bottom of Facebook's main page and type the name of the person you are looking for in the box provided. Keep in mind that most people set their privacy settings high for people they have not added as friends, which means only a portion of their profiles are visible to the public. If you want to view someone's entire profile, create a Facebook account and add that person as your friend.
Create a free Facebook account by visiting the Facebook website and filling out the sign-up form on the right side of the page.
Log in to your Facebook account.
Search for people you know by typing names in the "Search" box at the top of the page. This causes a drop-down menu to open with a list of people sharing that name.
Click on any name in your search results to view that person's profile.
Click on the "Add as Friend" button beside the person's name. This causes a "friend request" to be sent to that person.
Wait until you receive a notification that your friend request has been accepted. Only then can you view elements of your friend's profile that only her friends are authorized to see.
View a friend's profile by clicking on "Friends" in the menu on the left side of your profile page, then clicking on the person's name in your list of friends.
