A name says a lot about your identity. If you have both an English and Chinese name, you might want to express your Chinese identity and heritage by changing your English name to your Chinese name on your Facebook page. Facebook allows you to change your name, which you can do through your profile settings. After being approved, your Chinese name will start to show up on your Facebook page for all to see.
Log into Facebook.
Click on the "Account" drop down and choose "Account Settings."
Click "Change" on the "Name" section.
Enter the Chinese characters for your first and last names in the respective fields.
Click "Save Changes" to submit the name change request to Facebook. This change will need to be approved so the change will not be instant.
