By default, email messages you receive in Yahoo Mail are titled in bold font and marked with a colored dot when they haven't yet been read. After you click on an email, however, the colored dot will disappear and the bold font will be replaced with regular text. This can make finding important emails difficult, especially if you have a large number of emails in your inbox. If you opened an email and you know you're going to need the information in it at a later time, mark it as unread again to make it easy to spot.
Open or log in to your Yahoo email account and click on the folder containing the email message you want to mark as unread.
Check the check box on the left side of each message you want to mark as unread. This can be any number of email messages.
Open the "Actions" menu in the top toolbar and click the "Mark As Unread" option in the drop-down menu. The email messages will be marked as unread until they are opened again.
