Make a Simple Blog

Blogging is the 21st century equivalent of journaling or keeping a diary. Bloggers set up a weblog, called a blog for short, on a website. They can then log in and write about whatever they wish, making their thoughts, feelings and observations as private or public as they wish. Setting up a blog is extremely simple, thanks to some very good, free services around the Internet.
    1. Blogger

    2. Use a computer with internet access to launch the browser of your choosing.
    3. Go to www.blogspot.com.
    4. Sign in to Blogspot, also known as Blogger, using your Google account ID and password. If you do not have a Google account, you can create one simply by going to www.google.com and clicking "Sign in" at the top right-hand corner of the page. This will take you to a sign in screen that offers an option for creating an account.
    5. Click "Create Blog."
    6. Choose your blog name and URL, and type these into the form, as well as the "captcha" word verification form. Then click "Continue."
    7. Select your template, by clicking on one of the 8 images presented to you on the screen. Then click "Continue."
    8. Click "Start Blogging" on the next screen to begin posting items to your blog. This will bring you to a short form that allows you to type in a title and then an entry. You can also post pictures to the blog using this interface, which is similar to an email form.
    9. Log into your account, using your Google account, and select the blue "New Post" button to create a new blog posting anytime you wish.
