Change Position of Photo on Facebooks

When uploading Facebook photos, the shot's orientation loads in its default state. This means if you turned your camera for a portrait shot, the photo orients sideways, appearing incorrectly in your album. You do not need photo editing software to fix this problem because Facebook includes built-in photo rotation tools. View and turn photos so they appear as intended in your Facebook profile.

Log into Facebook and click your profile photo. Your profile page opens.

Click "Photos," located below your profile photo. A list of your albums appears.

Click the album containing the photo you want to edit.

Click the photo you want to reorient.

Click the right or left arrow at the bottom right of the photo, located below "Delete This Photo." The photo reorients and saves. Continue clicking the rotation arrows until the photo is properly oriented.
