Donate Link on Facebook Page

Online fundraising is an important part to collecting to donations for any good cause. You can put a donation link on the side of your Facebook page to help increase awareness for your collection efforts. Each Facebook page has a small "About" section on the left sidebar, which allows for text and clickable links. Using the "About" section for directing visitors to an external donation link is by far the most visible and prominent area on that page, since it falls directly below the profile picture and tab navigation.

Sign in to your Facebook account, click the "Account" option from the top menu bar and select "Use
Facebook as Page."

Click the "Switch" button for the page you want to add the donate link to. The page should load immediately.

Click the "Edit" link next to the "About" heading on the page's left column. On the next screen, find the "About" text field box.

Enter a short message about donating to your cause. For example, you could use, "Please donate and support our cause!"

Type or copy the full donation link behind the text. It should include the "http://" prefix, otherwise the link will not be clickable.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the "Save Changes" button. Visitors to your Facebook page will now see a donation link on the left sidebar, helping you increase awareness about your fundraising efforts.
